Anthony A. Velardi
Anthony was born and raised in Ft. Lauderdale, and he graduated from Pine Crest School in June 2001 with honors. During high school Anthony played football and baseball, and he was a member of the powerlifting and track and field teams.
Anthony graduated from the University of Notre Dame in January 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Political Science and Sociology and a minor in European Studies. While attending Notre Dame, Anthony was involved in Campus Ministry by serving as a Lector and Eucharistic Minister at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart on campus as well as teaching catechism to elementary students at a local church.
During his sophomore year, Anthony interned for criminal defense attorney Andre B. Gammage, and during that internship Anthony found his calling to be an attorney as he greatly enjoyed going to court and interacting with judges, attorneys, and all those in the legal profession.
Anthony graduated from Stetson University College of Law in May 2009 with a degree of Juris Doctor. While attending Stetson, Anthony served as Vice-President of the Christian Legal Society and led Bible studies for fellow Stetson students and organized various events throughout the year.
During his third year of law school, Anthony interned for immigration attorney O. Frank Valladares, and while working for Mr. Valladares, Anthony had the opportunity to go on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic with Project Child, a non-profit organization run by Mr. Valladares. Anthony also worked as a teaching assistant for Professor Jeffrey J. Minneti with the Academic Success Workshop for first year students.
From December 2010 to March 2015, Anthony worked at the law firm of Rahdert, Steele, Reynolds & Driscoll, P.L. in St. Petersburg for clients such as the Tampa Bay Times and the Poynter Institute.
Anthony joined the Clark, Campbell, Lancaster & Munson, P.A. family in March 2015, and focuses primarily on commercial and residential real estate, land use, and business/corporate law.
Anthony is an avid road cyclist and mountain biker and rides with the Road & Trail Bike Group and Bartow Cycling Group. Anthony has completed a few century (100+ mile) rides, and has participated in rides such as the Honor Ride in Tampa, the Central Florida Gran Fondo in San Antonio, the Frank Polack Memorial Ride in Ocala, the Clear Air Ride in Inverness, the Tour de Melon in Chiefland, the Frank Stark Ride in Boca Raton, the Dolphins Cancer Challenge in Miami, the Tour de Tow and Bloomin’ Bike Ride in Bartow, Sharky’s Ride the Beaches in Venice, and the Cross Florida Ride.
