ALZHEIMER’S ASSOCIATION RIDE FOR A CURE

Join CCL&M and our own Kevin Albaum for the inaugural Ride for a Cure at Fun Bike Center on September 26, 2015.

This event will include both a Motorcycle Ride and Bike Show event to raise support for this year’s Alzheimer’s Walk.  The event will include a 2.5 hour ride across multiple counties followed by an after party that includes: bike show, 50/50 raffle, and live music performed by DJ Brown. KEVIN ALBAUM RECOGNIZED AS HERO FOR THE WALK TO END ALZHEIMER’S!

Florida Gulf Coast Chapter Alzheimer’s Association has recognized our own Kevin Albaum as Hero for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s for his tireless involvement in this year’s Walk. This year’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s is scheduled for November 14. Kyle Jensen earns 3rd Place in the Swan Derby!

The Ron Swonson’s derby team of Kyle and Katherine Fitzwater, came in 3rd Place in the 2015 Swan Derby, raising $10,142 for Lakeland Volunteers in Medicine.

The Lakeland Swan Derby is an annual “Derby Style” event staged on beautiful Lake Mirror in downtown Lakeland. Participants race swan boats to raise funds for Lakeland Volunteers in Medicine (LVIM) a volunteer-run medical clinic that provides free quality medical care to the working uninsured of Polk County.

Peter J. Munson Receives George Jenkins Award

Peter J. Munson, Shareholder with Clark, Campbell, Lancaster & Munson, P.A., was awarded The Lakeland Area Chamber of Commerce’s 2015 George Jenkins Award at the Annual Meeting. Peter received the Chamber’s highest honor for his volunteer and philanthropic contributions to the Chamber, as well as Polk Education Foundation, Lakeland Kiwanis Club, Lakeland Yacht Club, United Way, YMCA, Polk Museum of Art, the Imperial Symphony Orchestra and the SPCA.

Kevin R. Albaum Joins Clark, Campbell, Lancaster & Munson, P.A.

Clark, Campbell, Lancaster & Munson, P.A. is very pleased to announce that Kevin R. Albaum has joined the firm as an Associate.

Kevin received his Bachelor of Arts in English from Florida State University. While studying at Stetson College of Law, Kevin was involved with eh Stetson Law’s Wills for Greatest Generation, Stetson Law’s Elder Consumer Protection Expo and the Walk to End Alzheimer’s, while also interning with the 12th Circuit State Attorney’s Office in the Elder Abuse Division. Kevin received his J.D. from Stetson University College of Law, where he received a Certificate of Concentration in Elder Law, was President of the Elder Law Society and Student Liaison for the ABA Senior Lawyers Division. Kevin was a two-time recipient of the Rebecca Morgan Elder Law Scholarship. Kevin is a member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association, HCBA Elder Law Section, Thomas E. Penick, Jr. Elder Law American Inn of Court, the American Bar Association, the St. Petersburg Bar Association and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.

Kevin practices primarily in the areas of Elder Law, including Wills, Estates, Probate, Guardianships, Medicaid and Trusts.
