John M. Butz

John M. Butz was born and raised in Lakeland, Florida. John earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Bachelor of Music in Guitar Performance from the University of Florida in 2021.

John earned his Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law in 2025. During his time at Stetson, he served as an Executive Editor on the Journal of Aging Law and Policy and participated in community service events with the Elder Law Society. He was also an active member of the Real Property Probate & Trust Law Society and the Business Law Society.

After graduation, John returned to Lakeland to begin his legal career at Clark, Campbell, Lancaster, Workman, & Airth, P.A. His primary practice areas are probate, guardianships, estate planning, wills and trusts, and Medicaid planning.

In his free time, John enjoys playing golf, reading, making music, and spending time with family.
